August is a busy time for all things Ghyti. First off the band will be playing a warm-up show at the Wheatsheaf Hotel in Thebarton, SA (that's THEB-ART-ON, not THE-BARTON), with the wonderful and talented St. Morris Sinners. Everyone in the vicinity should definitely be there for a great show.
And yet, we describe it as a warm-up. Indeed... for on the 24th August at the Crown and Anchor Hotel, in Adelaide SA, we will be launching LIFE IS CHEAP. Hooray. Joining us for the excitement will be our friends and allies, The Aves, The Wild Things, and the impossibly titled, Hi, I'm Reclusive Author Thomas Pynchon.
In between time there is a live to air set on Radio Adelaide's Local Noise on the 20th, and a solo Ghyti appearance discussing songwriting and the like on the same station's Songcatcher the night before (19th). It is a hectic month, and all the better for it.
We can't wait to see you out there kids. Everything will be ok, even though life is cheap.
